Good day eager picklers!
Summer season is fast approaching! Please read the following important information:
- there is work being performed on the outdoor ice rink in the month of May.
- accordingly, May play will be inside at the curling club only
- play will commence May 13. Sessions for May 13 - June 2 will be posted tomorrow.
- due to space limitations, we ask that you limit sign ups to 2x/week. If there are vacancies, you can sign up within 24 hours of scheduled play
- we will be introducing some new session formats, including dedicated 3.25 play, 3.0 play, ladies play and mens play.
- definitions of each kind of play will be posted prior to the start of summer play.
- as of June 3, we will have scheduled play everyday on the outside rink and 3x a week indoors at the curling club. Lots of options!
- court hosts will be needed and we want to expand our roster of volunteers. We will endeavour to start a mentoring system so some of our veteran hosts can share their knowledge and bring on new hosts using a co-host approach until new hosts are comfortable.

When you host at SWING, please hand in a current list of players to the front desk. It can be hand written. And players, let the person at the front desk know who you are. The lists that I provided to Swing changes due to last minute cancellations and add-ons. Therefore, I am asking you to make sure you let the front desk who you are every time. Much appreciated.

Summer Members:
Our Spring Fling Social event will take place on Thursday May 9th, 7-10pm at the Legion, Normandy Room.
Rosie and the OG’s will entertain us with live music and pop hits from the 50’s thru to the 80’s.

GTPC would be delighted to have you attend and be part of a fun evening.
