Cathy

Congratulations to TEAM GTPC today -

For those who missed out on all the fun , let me fill you in.

Our day started out with a little hiccup - BUT - like in life , we were able to develop a PLAN B quickly - Unfortunately, we were not able to use the curling club today which meant we quickly set up outside AND we didn’t have to cancel the REC play group that was scheduled- phew.

Today we hosted Wasaga Beach. The competition was tough and GTPC raised to the challenge. Although Wasaga won overall today - we sure did try to slow them down.

GTPC won 12 games and WASAGA won 14. It sure was close. A real nail biter indeed !!

As for the FUN factor - OMG - it was a total BLAST 💥

Off the charts FUN !

A special thanks to Lesya , Liz , Miriam , Karen, Wendy and Susan ! You ladies ROCK 🎉 these ladies had snacks and refreshments ready to go - they helped every step of the way and ensured everything went smoothly.

Lastly , to all of our athletes- wow wow wow - we are so very proud of you and your tenacious spirit ! Thank you for making us proud with your GOOD Vibes and OUTSTANDING sportsmanship.

Well done !!

Sharon

Thank you to an awesome court host Karen and all the wonderful, positive and patient recreational players today at 11 am during the heat who helped our "rentry" back to pickleball after a 3 month break due to various travel trips! You reminded Ken and I about the "fun" in pickleball!

Lesya

Thanks everyone for coming out to play at 11 in the heat this am - you did great! An aqua coloured water bottle was left behind and is now in the locked box

I just realized there is no court host for this. Peter and I can do it.
