Hello Members
As with all clubs’ ratings and offering competitive play at all levels is a challenge while also
providing social/rec play.
We have heard from many of you that you want to play with people of your own caliber and
have the opportunity to increase your rating. Therefore, we have gone through a thorough
process of re-evaluating all members. We are also adding a 3.25 rating. This means some
people will be moving up and some down in their rating. To accomplish this we have used
17 different elements to arrive at these ratings. They include non-board peers of yours,
scores from competitive and ladder play and outside evaluation. To be sure, this is never
perfect and will continue to be work in progress. For those who wish to play more
competitively we will be offering that at every level. This will also give players the
opportunity to move from one bracket to another. Such as the top players in each level will
be able to challenge in the next higher level. This may, but not necessarily, result in
someone moving down. Be assured that Rec and social play will continue to have a major
place in our calendar where people of every rating can play. There is always the opportunity
to challenge your rating by emailing the GTPC.
It is our intent to make the GTPC a club for all players. A place to advance and improve. A
club where everyone can enjoy the social and physical aspects of the game.
Ratings will be changed in PLU over the course of the coming week and will be completed by April 15. Please take note of your rating at that time. These ratings will take effect for the summer season when we commence play approximately May 8. These new ratings will not affect any sign ups at Swing for the remainder of our indoor season.
This is your club, and we are listening to you. Should you have any questions or
comments please send them to the GTPC email address: georgiantrianglepc(miuku)gmail(piste)com.

GTPC members, all our required equipment is now at Swing. It is kept in the LOWER cabinet beside Court 5. Included are balls, binder with score sheets, 4 buckets with clip, pens and fist aid kit.
Bring it all out for each session and REPLACE everything afterwards to the cupboard. There are long tables by our courts to put our equipment on.
We play on courts 1-4.
If can step up to HOST some of the games you are playing that would be appreciated. We will all help you thru the process. Please let Lesya know.

Note: defibrillator is located beside the front door.

Please follow all of Swings rules and be courteous of others players. Double check you have not left anything behind.
Thanks and have a super time at Swing.

Liz

Forgot to mention: While at Swing, we are not allowed on the courts before our time or after our time has finished.
